Job opportuniities at Noreena are:

 

• STATION HANDS/ JILLAROOS/ JACKEROOS : This is during mustering season, the work involves mustering on motorbikes(crf 230) and a couple of buggy's, cattle yard work, maintanence such as fencing, workshop, servicing vehicles and bikes, windmill runs and making new things.

       The stockcamp spend 6 to 10 weeks    camping out in a homely but  older style stockcamp.

 

• CAMP COOK: to cook for the entire station crew, do dishes, clothes washing, house cleaning and a little bit of gardening.

      For 6 to 10 weeks the cook will camp out at the stockcamp with the crew in order to continue with duties similar to those carried out at homestead.

 

 

• BOREMAN: to maintain the water points on the station and check periodically, care of cattle at water points and station maintanence and servicing.

 

 

 

 

Noreena is a budget style place but take great pride in cattle education and breeding.

Accomodation is simple type dongas, laundry and tv room supplied.

All meals cooked for everyone and washing done.

Noreena do take people on out of mustering months depending.

Mustering months vary year to year but approx early april through to mid october.
